Zoetica translates roughly as ‘to live life animatedly’. The Tarnished Frocks and Divas Development team have unashamedly taken it from the word ‘zoetic’ which means vital and used it to name a show packed with vitality and performed by 40+ women absolutely full of life.
Without giving too much away and spoiling the excitement and surprise of the show we can say that the TFandD team have done it again. They have come up with an idea and developed a theme and storyline that is relevant, interesting and hilarious, and will be spectacular to witness.
In staging Zoetica Tarnished Frocks and Divas will employ all the technology available to enhance the show and take you beyond the stage.
Peta Mathias joins TFandD in 2017. She plays her part as a stylish executive with fingers in many pies – running her entrepreneurial empire on the technological superhighway. Will she cook? Wait and see.
Jackie Clarke is back. However, instead of strutting the stage in her full glory, in her role this year it may be a case of ‘spot the Jackie’ exhibiting her usual fun and exuberance.
The popular catwalk segments return and will intertwine edgy industrial, feminine lace and many more themes into the story-line…
The Tarnished Frocks and Divas development team have been meeting regularly for months. They have created characters, given them a ‘mission’ and wrapped a story around them. Their script in progress has gone to professional Auckland screenwriter, Kathryn Burnett also a script consultant who has been in the TV/film industry for 20 years. She is ‘polished the diamond’ before handing it back to the producer ready for the production team to begin and work their creative magic.
As in past shows there will be lead parts, support acts, music, dance and theatre on the catwalk, plus an inspiringly interactive big screen extravaganza using technology to heighten the experience.
